Rather than emulate the arcade stylings of Namco's Ridge Racer V, Type-S attempts to fashion a Gran Turismo-esque simulation experience. Regardless of the company's past success, one thing's certain - whenever Square tackles a new genre, people take notice.

Type-S receives suck-ass reviews
The votes are in and Driving Emotion Type-S... sucks. From Gamers.com's 4/10 to GameSpot's 6.0 to the 7.0 from IGN PS2, Type S has been hailed as "less fun than picking boogers."

The Bouncer, Type-S release dates
Square's The Bouncer will ship this coming March, while Driving Emotion Type-S will be seeing store shelves on January 30.
