Ayako Saso (佐宗 綾子)

Music Composer

Ayako Saso is a videogame music composer. She has contributed to the soundtracks of such classic arcade titles as Galaxian^3, Ridge Racer 2, Rave Racer, and Tekken 2. In 1997 she joined Arika and composed songs for Street Fighter EX3. Shortly thereafter, she worked with composer Shinji Hosoe on three games for Square, Bushido Blade, Driving Emotion Type S, and Internal Section. She joined her colleagues when the newfound game music production company Super Sweep was formed, and notably contributed to the original soundtrack for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Most recently, she contributed tracks to Ridge Racer 7 Direct Audio, under the name SamplingMasters Aya, and FolksSoul: The Last Folklore.
